Stan is a Senior Software Developer at the Agency for Co-operative Housing. He was introduced to the co-op sector in 1999 when he and his wife Margaret moved to Ottawa and decided to live in Abiwin Housing Co-op. Stan combined his love of numbers and desire to help others by serving on the finance committee at Abiwin, and later acting as Treasurer for various not-for-profit organizations, including the Mars Society of Canada and Trinity United Church in Ottawa.
In joining the Board of Directors of the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa, Stan sees his core values of faith, financial responsibility and service to others working synergistically to support the start of a co-operative venture that will greatly benefit the people of Ottawa.
