For the past 30 years since I've lived in Ottawa, I have been active both as an employee and as a volunteer in the co-operative sector. Inspired by my first job at Scotian Gold Co-operative in Nova Scotia, I have worked at the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada and currently at the Agency for Co-operative Housing. I have also been on the boards of the Ottawa Community Credit Union and Abiwin Housing Co-operative. Now I'm pleased to support another opportunity to provide services through the co-operative movement by sitting on the board of the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa. |
